It's been awhile, but here is the next round of Lagoon Trivia. The first to respond with the correct answer will get the points. The scoreboard is on the right sidebar.

2. Which son of Simon Bamberger has a fountain named in his honor at Lagoon?
3. Name two picnic terraces built in the 1990s.

Okay, this round has ended and nobody got #2 right. The fountain between Game Time and Opera House Square was built in honor of Julian Bamberger, who also managed Lagoon for awhile.

Jampri got 3 points for answering the first two correctly. Davehi1 gets 3 more points for getting question #3 correct. I thought it was interesting that the day after Round 2 started, the Salt Lake Tribune published an article giving the wrong date for the opening of Shoot-The-Chutes. Round 3 will begin Sunday. I might be making some changes...

Lagoon Trivia Round 2

Davehi1 is the big winner this week. He was the first to answer correctly on the first question and was only one to get the second question correct. That gives him three points. Nobody got the third question right. I'll keep the scores posted on the sidebar to the right.

Speed and accuracy are the keys to winning this game. Because of this, I've decided to change the deadline for answers to three days instead of week. So Round 2 will end Wednesday at 6:40pm.

Lagoon Trivia! Round 1

Some of you who read the old FS Forums might remember the weekly game of Lagoon Trivia I hosted there. I'll be doing this periodically on the blog now.

RULES
The first person to respond with a correct answer gets the points for that answer. The first question is 1 point, the second is worth 2 and the third is worth 3. Don't respond as anonymous or you won't get your points. I'll be keeping track of the points from week to week based on your screen name. The more specific your answer is, the better. If no one gets the answer correct after exactly one week, no one gets the points.
